Multifamily
MCHA has multifamily developments located throughout the county. There are 87 units throughout the county comprised of one (1) and two (2) bedroom apartments and two (2), three (3), and four (4) bedroom single-family homes.
Multifamily properties are a Federally funded, subsidized-rental program. Rent is income based and is determined by the household’s monthly adjusted gross income. The tenant will pay no more than 30% of their adjusted annual income for rent. The tenant will receive a deduction for utility allowances. This amount varies depending on unit size. You are responsible for paying your rent and electric, maintaining your premises, and conforming to the usual rules of sanitation, decency, and consideration for the rights of your neighbors.
